LORT SMITH ANIMAL HOSPITAL PARTNERS WITH PETS AT HOME TO LEAD CHANGE As a respected animal welfare organisation, we have been concerned by how little things seem to have changed despite years of campaigning with regard to the selling of animals in pet shops and the associated animal welfare problems.
After much debate and discussion, we decided the best way to bring about change would be to work with a leading player in the industry and chose Australia’s first ever pet care department store, Pets at Home.
The Lort Smith 2007 raffle proved to be a big success, raising $52,000 for the hospital. We’d like to say a great big THANK YOU to everyone who sold and bought tickets.
Our 2008 raffle will be launched shortly. Watch these pages for details of how to join our team of raffle book sellers, or when, where and how you can buy tickets and help us continue with our important work.
